 | | | | Dear Phoebe,
When I was diagnosed with CRF, Mom cried so much. I went on for almost 2 years, but I was already 14 years old too. For the whole time, I kept my throne as king of the household; with 3 other males in the house.......hahaha.
Everyone said that Mom would know when it was time; well, CRF is a disease that can be compared to a rollercoaster. For instance, 1 day Mom thought that was it for me, the next day I was fine.
Please tell your Mom not give up quickly, because as I said it's a roller coaster.
Mom gave me sud-Q fluids every other day, and pills too. Every once in a while, I would get an infection, and would have to go on meds for that too. I was a very loving cat, so when I started showing aggression , when Mom was trying to do these things to me, she knew it was probably almost time; and it was.
One thing that Mom does n't do anymore, is she doesn't get any of my brothers and sisters their shots. There have been tests proving that there may be a link to different deseases and these vaccines. My siblings, all 8 of them, are all house cats, so Mom doesn't worry.
It seems that you have youth on your side, so live life to the fullest everyday, and a word of advice........."Never go after a humans' ankles"....lmao.
With love,
Charlie | | | | |
