Oslo, my smallest orange and white kitten, is gone. cry Foster Mom found him this morning when she came to check on us. We are so, so devastated. Foster Mom hasn't stopped crying yet. Please keep me and my remaining 2 kittens in your thoughts. WHY CAN'T PEOPLE SPAY/NEUTER THEIR PETS?!? cry

Oh you poor thing! I know these things happen, but it must be so hard! It might be best to get the vet to do an autopsy, just to check it's not something that could have passed to the others.
Hopefully it won't be, and little Oslo can be a guardian angel to his little siblings. little angel

The kitten has to go back to the shelter and they take care of the body. cry It's just their policy, and I don't think they do autopsies. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed at this point.

We are so sorry for Oslo.cry Perhaps he was the smallest because he was conceived later than his siblings. The fact that he passed right away means he had something wrong with him that couldn't be fixed.

We will most certainly be purring for Teyah and her other 2 babies. And also for you, foster Mama. Unfortunately these things happen and we just need to focus on the ones who are left - keeping them healthy above all.

My remaining 2 kittens and I are doing well as of this morning. The kittens are nursing and seem very active and strong. Please continue to send good vibes! way to go

Foster Mom's mother took her and Foster Dad out to dinner yesterday to try to cheer them up. Foster Mom's mother then gave her a stuffed orange and white cat who meows when you press his arm. (Oslo was orange and white and meowed all the time, loudly.) She said "This one is so that you never forget the one you lost. Foster Mom cried SO hard. cry It was the sweetest thing.

Thank you for your purrs all. hug Zurich and Vienna are 1 week old today and are growing bigger and getting stronger everyday! I am also getting better and Foster Mom hasn't heard me sneeze since Saturday morning. happy dance
