	Hi everyone! I just wanted to say hi, I miss you all now that the season is over and we don't chat as much. What are you guys all up to this summer? Anyone one watching any new shows? Or reading any good books?

	Hi Patches. We miss you guys all too. Man it has been hot this year and mom misses me so much, but the hot weather was so hard on me. The humans are keeping busy and still working on the house. Mom wants to sit and read a good book but about the time she does the silly little dog they got does something stupid. Mom is glad Eureka came back she likes that one and the new Warehouse 13 is kinda fun. They got a new TV and its way bigger than the old one so she is really looking forward to the last of Lost.

	We are staying busy here. At least the people are. Matilda and I are enjoying the sunshine and the great views from our windows. Mom has been watching Eureka and enjoyed the first episode of Warehouse 13, too. We still have to watch the second one. And, of course, True Blood is keeping us all occupied! My human sissy has been in different camps and is enjoying her summer off, but is missing school. Mommy says it's hard to admit this, but she's missing school, too! And mom has had several pet sitting jobs, which makes her very happy. She is sitting two kitties this week who are a Persian/Cornish Rex mix. She says they are really cool looking and very sweet. It has been hot here, but the A/C is still plugging away. Mommy is so happy we have it!

	Mom typed a response from me yesterday, and we've been having problems. So I will start over. Hi Binks We are enjoying the summer also. Mom is enjoying Warehouse 13 and really glad Eureka is back. Wish we had a good view. The new fence in the back yard is not a good view. But mom is good to me and the silly new dog lets me still sleep with her!

	Glad everyone is enjoying themselves and staying busy! Binks I am glad your pet sitting business is taking off. My mom was thinking about trying to do something like that too...

	Yeah Binks. We just realized you are having hotter weather than it is supposed to be, huh. We've been having hot weather but gets hot and then it cools off, then back up. That's kinda unusual for us. Me I just sit here and look good.

	Definitely a strange summer, weather-wise! Fortunately, mom is a displaced Southern girl and is used to the heat (as long as there is enough a/c going to make her forget about it)! Patches, if your mom wants to talk to my mom about becoming a pet sitter, just send me a message. She's really enjoying it, although it takes a while to get the business going. This past weekend, she watched a Dachshund named Lizzie. Her people say that she is in love with mom. And mom noticed that she can get her to do things her people can't convince her to do. Can you say "weiner dog whisperer"? Oh, and have any of you watched "Being Human" on BBC? It is a great series. We missed the first episode, but the rest have been great. Vampires, werewolves, ghosts... oh my!!!

	Summer here is like our fav TV show...it was Lost! We had lots of cool, wet weather. The best weather all summer has been the last 2 weeks. The one good thing was that it wasn't very humid. We're looking forward to this new season and hope that Lost lives up to the expectations. Sure hope they give us some of last season again, just to keep some of the story threads right! Woofs & wags!
