Well I read a lot of posts and it seems a lot of everyone's cats are on medications to help them.

We're not 100% sure Fudge is positive, but every time we go to the vet, they say it most likely is FeLV. My parents both strongly oppose to getting her tested, after going through all the visits with Belle, who passed away after getting all the tests done. My parents believe if we know it will just be waiting for the worst to come and they'd rather we focus on spending whatever time we have left with her.

It may seem like my parents don't want to do anything for her, but they will do whatever they can for her.

But if my vet is sooo sure then why doesn't he recommend any of these meds? Or even tell me change her diet?

Ever since Fudge has been sick, I can't stand my vet anymore. We've been going there for about 11 years and now that Fudge is so sick I just find problems with everything they do there. How the yearly checkup and monthly check ups are soo short.

So is it time for a new vet? Am I just being to emotional cause my baby is sick and I'm seeing everything wrong?

Hope

Fudge...get tested! as far as meds go, I've been diagnosed positive almost a year...haven't been sick yet! NO MEDS!!! It all depends on the cat..but you need to know for sure so if you do get sick, they have a starting point! As far as the vet, mommy has to be sure she trusts him completely, or it's time to get a new one! And if you do test pos. and the 1st thing he suggests is to put you down...get the furr out of there!! Purrs, Tiggerdancingdancingdancingdancingwavewavewave
