I thought about this because one of mom's friends encountered a sort-of miracle while at work earlier.

My mom's friend has been having a rough time at her job recently. But today, she got a text message from an unknown phone #. It said: "Hey, I thought I would give some encouragement! 2 Chronicles 15:7, 'but as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.' Love you!" She smiled, and thought that one of her son's buddies texted her w/the message, since she didn't recognize the number. She also texted back "Thank you," but didn't receive any response. Later on, she asked her son which one of his friends texted her the inspirational message, and he said he doesn't know anyone with that number, either. She is convinced that this is the little way that God gave her the boost she needed. smile

Alright, maybe that's a little corny, but God does send signs, big and small, to let us know He is in charge. So do you have any stories to share how He has done so?

One time my mom was at a prayer group and a lady was listening to my mom speaking about how worried she was at the state of the world. Then she handed my mom a piece of paper. She said that Jesus had told her to write down these words and give them to someone today who needed to hear them.

The words were "Fear is useless, what is needed is trust".

WOW, what a testimony to God's grace! He always gives us what we need. big grin

Ma says her getting married was totally the Holy Spirit guiding her. She never felt called to the married life, but never to the religious life, either. Then Dad started persuing her and a month after dating, she realized she was going to marry him someday! Now, 6 years later, they have been married for almost 2 years!

Just look at the colors of the leaves and the bright Autumn sky - could anyone but God create such glory?

Ma was thinking about that on her way into work today. We have had dreary, rainy, gray weather fur the last 5 days, but the trees are so bright against it! It's beautiful!

Major Sign: The furiend of Ma's that just had her baby - Jessie - has an incompetent cervix, so she had a circlage put in. (A stitch that keeps the baby in). She was supposed to have the stitch out two Tuesdays ago, but the doctor that put it in wanted to be the one to take it out, and he was going to be gone, so they took it out earlier. Jessie went into labor on that Saturday, and it was very rough. However, the Tuesday after Lucy was born, she asked us, "Do you know what I was supposed to do today? Get my circlage out." If that stitch had been in, she probably would have died. This birth had so many blessed timings in it - you could just feel God there!!

God turns all things to good. May he always bless the little baby who had such a miraculous start.
