The local news channels have been doing storys about the rise in coyote population as a caution to pet owners.

A good example of why dogs should never be allowed off leash and why pet parents should watch their dogs in the yard to make sure no critters entered.

blue dogI've had first hand coyote experience when my parents took Ruby and me to our Grandparents Beecher, IL farm. I thought they were very playful. I just wanted to stick around and have fun with them but Grandpa and Grandma called me back and when I came running they came running towards the house after me. I am a BIG DOG and wasn't worried a bit. The Grandparents on the other hand were very afraid. You could read about it more on my page if you wanna. It's under the fun stuff part of the page. I think it was before I started my diary pages.
