I've been hearing alot in the news lately about Presidential dogs. This made me think what about the Furrst Kitties? How many were there and are any of them still around? I went and did some research online and found out that there have only been four Furrst Kitties in our nations history. The last one being Socks - the black and white cat of former President Clinton. According to several sources on the net, Socks is now 18 years old and living in Maryland with former Clinton secretary Betty Currie and her husband. If any cat remembers, Socks ended up having to live apart from the Clintons as he could not get along with their dog Buddy who sadly was run over by a car and killed back in 2002.
