Hi, I am a fairly new foster parent for the Seattle Humane Society. So far I have fostered only 4 dogs. The first was a border collie named Fletcher who was 2 years old. I only had him for a week before he got adopted, and my family fell in love with him. We wanted to become foster failures and adopt him ourselves, but did the right thing and gave him up. It was so hard, but now since I did that, he has a great home and my home was open for more foster dogs. My next foster stint was 3 pit bull puppies I had for 3 weeks until they were old enough for adoption. They were a lot of work but I did enjoy having puppies for a short time. Right now I am between foster dogs and can't wait to get started again!

Hi! I'm Kat. I foster kitties in Minnesota. I just got my first foster kitten adopted, and now Mimi and Mia need homes. I love fostering and wish everyone could foster. I've devoted a lot to fostering (renovating the entire upstairs of my house, adding a cat room). I'm hoping to foster dogs in the future.
