Educate yourself about the difference between a reputable dog breeder and a puppy mill. The Internet has a great deal of information and if you are looking to add a puppy or dog to your family, do your homework!

There is a puppy mill that is currently under investigation in Cleveland, North Carolina. This mill has been in operation since 1999 but no one has been able to shut it down. The owner/operators are: Dee & Michael Gerrish. These people not only surrendered ten of their older dogs to a local Animal Shelter, they refuse to allow any visitors on their property to tour the kennels. They refuse to all the kennels and property to be inspected by the proper authorities.
The Gerrishs' only advertise on the Internet and make erroneous claims that they were the first goldendoodle breeders in the South, they have the most "extensive and largest goldendoodle site on the Internet". Hi All wave
I'm from Buffalo, NY and my gram just told me that on the news tonight will be a story about breeders being exposed!! I'm so glad there has been so much publicity about animal abuse lately. applause Everyone is really taking a stand and not putting up with it!! hail I will get back after we watch the story. Thank God I came from a reputable breeder (honeynuttcockers.com) and also I am with a very loving family. There are still too many suffering pups out there and it has to be stopped. We feel so bad when we hear all the sad stories! cry I just can't understand why some humans are so mean to my furry pals.
