Doing Reiki On Buttons

While trying everything in the book to heal Buttons I try to do as much Reiki as I can on her. She is very sensitive to energy and does not allow me to do hands on Reiki on her for more than a minute or two unless she is feeling very very ill then I can do it for an hour.

With renal failure they tend to stop eating and drinking and then get nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. She is getting sub-q fluids at home and at the vet. Also she has had a couple days if IV therapy.

I have started doing surrogate Reiki on Buttons. I give Buttons all the Reiki symbols then I give a teddy bear all the symbols and intend Reiki to go to Buttons while I do hands on Reiki on the bear.

I do feel the Reiki flowing strongly and Buttons just lays there with her ears slightly back listening and looking at what I'm doing.

She seems to be calmed by the Reiki sessions but not energized by them.

I am just learning Reiki on animals so any help from anyone in the group would be very much appreciated.

Molly is the same way. She won't let me treat her unless I specifically ask my guides to let the energy flow in a very gentle stream, and even then she'll only stay for a few minutes. So, I do what I can when I can, and usually ask the flow to start just as I'm petting her. She likes to be stroked for longer periods of time and then usually lets the energy flow in those strokes for a bit longer. She's not sick, but she's getting older and I want to keep her comfortable for as long as I can.
Just do your best and I'm sure Buttons will appreciate everything you're doing for her.

My beloved kitty was not doing well at all. I was at the vet getting IV's and medication almost every other day and sub-q fluids at my home as well...........and still nothing was helping.

Reiki seemed to help with her nausea at times though.

Her symptoms were getting out of control and she was losing more weight.

She was declining fast. The vet told me to "just keep her comfortable".... As you know my pets are like beloved family members and I was devastated! I'm sure all of you can relate to the feelings.

Then early one morning a voice (my guide) told to call my Theta healing teachers, teacher. I'm only a level 1 Theta healer so I thought yes, go straight to the top. She lives in another state so we did the healing over the phone! An amazing & miraculous healing has occurred!!!

Buttons has started eating, drinking, purring, looking curious & walking with her tail straight in the air. She is jumping up on the bed and even going to the top of her huge cat tree. She started playing with one of her toys!!!

She has not done any of those things in over 3 months. She was only eating a couple bites a day then NOT EATING AT ALL she lost almost 7 lbs! Now she is holding at 9lbs. down from 15 lbs.

...............15 minutes after the healing (which only took 30 minutes) she stretched started purring and then ate and drank water. She has been eating 3 times everyday sense then. I am so thrilled about this that I cant stop kissing her!!!!

I would say she is 80% healed.

Buttons is 16 and may be trying to leave here, I know this, but I don't want her to go this way, so I'm just going to keep healing her till she decides to cross over.
