Litter allergies / hypoallergenic litter?

Hi,

My human has recently started wondering whether I might be allergic to my kitty litter (it's the World's Best corn litter.) I have multiple food allergies, and my human has started to wonder about other allergens.

Do any of you know whether a litter allergy is possible? Are any of you allergic to any kinds of litter? Are there hypo-allergenic litters out there we can try?

I know it's been awhile since you posted this, but I wanted to respond anyway. I tried World's Best Cat Litter two years ago and had a horrible reaction; I started losing my fur! Now I had always been a little itchy, but bald patches detract from my beauty. I was horrified. On the the bright side, based on my symptoms the vet and I figured out I was allergic to corn. So we switched foods from Nutro to California Natural and obviously discontinued use of the Litter. Since then I'm exhibiting much less in the way of symptoms overall (plus no bald patches).
