 | |  | | Hi furiends!! Mom just had a hair-raising moment when she realized this past weekend was the date we celebrate for the Annifursary of her finding us -- and she forgot!!
But it went like this: at the end of July in 2005, she found me on the front porch of the house (or, more correctly, *I* found HER!). She brought me in and officially adopted me a couple of days later. At the end of July in 2006, she found Tethys on the front porch next door. She brought in Tethys and again said August 1 was the official adoption day.
Her friend was stopping by and asked to see the new arrival (while Mom was pretending she hadn't decided to keep Tethys), and Tethys had made herself comfortable in a little basket upstairs, so Mom carried the basket downstairs and that was that.
Of course, the eerie part is just how much we are like and Mom's total conviction that we are related...
