	Happy Mew Year, dear Muffin and Macy. Macy, I like your Mew Year resolutions. “Eat more fresh meat” -is that like mousies that you catch yourself? My Mew Year’s resolution is to play more. A vegetarian potluck does not sound good to me, MOL. But I’m sure your Mom will enjoy it. Muffin, have fun playing with the baby-sitter. Does she know where your treats are? Our fireplace is already burning. We got the sparkly grape juice chilling in the fridge. We’ll try to stay awake ‘til the ball drops. We might take a few cat naps between now and then.

	Timo, I did catch a mouse in the house once! Mom thought I had a play mouse. She went to grab it and throw it for me and boy did she squeal when she saw it was alive!!! The mouse got away Mom cooks us meat for dinner. For breakfast, I eat cat food. Mom is a vegetarian so she makes a big deal about how she buys and cooks meat for us carnivores. Hey, she knew I was not a veg when she got me. I have fangs and claws after all.

	MOl, Macy. Well, at least she makes it for you! Ma forgot to tell the sitter we could have treats! She better remember next time! Ma and Dad say they don't want to think about what would happen if a mosue got into our house. It would not be good.

	MOL Macy. Our Mom would jump high in the air I think if we had a real mouse in the house. Unfortunately we didn't get to see that yet. Muffin, oh no, no treats That cat sitter is not good. Didn't give the nice kitty any treats Hey, today was a record high of 63 here in Iowa. Winter did officially not happen, yipee I'm glad that this funny caucus thing is over. We got several robo-calls about it every day. Very annoying when you're trying to take a nap.

	Oh, my, Timo! Elections annoy Ma to no end as it is. I can't imagine if we lived in a caucus state!! Ma said she'll be sure to tell the girl where the treats are next time.

	Your bed looks cozy Timo. I signed up for Valentine's day cards. I want to make my own but mom says I am not a very good artist.It's the thought that counts..right? I think for tonight, I will just make some cookies. Macy turns on the oven and gets out the slice and bake cookies

	Good morning! Thanks for the cookies - I love those slice and bake ones! Especially when you can eat the dough out of the tube. I brought some pastries to go with our coffee this morning, too. Ma says we need to start signing up for cards again, but she's gotta get back in the groove. Plus, the drug store where we used to get our posties burned down, so now we don't know where to get ones from our town. Breakfast Pastries

	Those pastries look marvelous Muffin! I order my post cards on line and get my greeting cards either at the grocery store,or the party outlet has better prices. But, mom has to make a special trip for me to go to the party outlet.

	Ma gets our cards from the Dollar Tree because they're always two for a dollar! She says they have some really nice ones, too. We don't have many choices where we live. Even the Dollar Tree is a 45 minute drive!
