Mama new she wanted something that didn't quite fit such an adorable thing, and as soon as she got me she picked Morbid. But then she researched cats because she'd never had one before and found out that some things about cats are quite morbid, like our tongue isn't just for grooming, but for retaining and ripping flesh from a carcass.

Inkie and Blinkie

Inkie and Blinkie are named after the Pac Man Ghosts (Inky=Fickle Blinky=Chaser) Because we fit the stereotypes so well. Dad just thought it was cute because we're twins! Armani is a true fashionisto since he was a kitten, so it's only proper he be named after the Giorgio Armani line.

My boy gave me my name...I am named after a creature in the Harry Potter books that is beautiful until angered & then turns ugly & throws fireballs...The name fits me well!laugh out loud

My mommy and daddy love this show called "Supernatural" or something, and named me after the main bad guy for the first two seasons. My mommy also told me that Azazel in mythology is a fallen angel, and that it's funny I turned out with yellow eyes, just like the Azazel from the show.

Haruko (In- Loving- Memory)

My mommy was thinking about the character Haruko from the anime FLCL one day, and it just fit. Sometimes I can definitely be as flaky at the character, though, my mommy says.

Putty- Monster

The humans I live with, in particular the mother, had wanted to name an animal "Putty" after a mix up at a friends house with his dog's name (the dog's name was "Buddy" but she thought it was "Putty"). After they took me in, they named me Putty (although I've since been referred to as simply Mama Cat). The daughter and her boyfriend, watchers of the show "House", took the fact that Putty rhymed with Cuddy, and put my name into the line, "Work Bad. Evil Cuddy Monster," turning it into "Work Bad. Evil Putty Monster."

From there on, I was known as Putty Monster.

How did I get my name? Hmmm.. thinking. I think that my humans were thinking of a bunch of names and one of 'em just thought of Random and that's it. I don't know why... shrug I'm a random cat!
