Has any cat heard of Proposition 98 and 99 on the June 3rd ballot.

Good for you, Jewell! I don't think it's inappropriate...After all, there are actually groups on Catster whose sole purpose is to promote a particular political party or presidential candidate.
We're hearing the recommendation that hoomans who care about other hoomans (and their pets) are advised to vote No on Prop. 98 and Yes on 99. I don't think anyone wants their property seized by the government for private development, but the "Yes on 98" folks are using that fear to push through a measure that would ban rent control, which has nothing to do with eminent domain. We think it's misleading and will hurt renters and may leave hoomans and kitties homeless if their rent is raised too high.
