 | |  | | In fact, I think I did. I pounced on Mommy, tried to dig under her, tried to nudge her out of the way, and generally made a big, huge pest of myself. Then Mommy started worrying that I was trying to a get a big, mean spider who had crawled under her. So, all chances of a good night's sleep were lost at this point. She still doesn't know why I was using her sleeping body as my romper room, but she does hope it wasn't insect - or arachnid - related! After that, I started meowing (somewhere between 3 am - 4 am) and wouldn't be quiet.
Matilda was sound asleep during all of this. But the poor girl had to get picked up and put in the bathroom along with me so that Mommy could get some sleep.
Mommy wonders if I need another cat to play with. Matilda used to play with me until I was fully grown. Then I think I tried to dominate her and she didn't like it. We still play, but she's content to curl up and sleep all night, but I get so bored! Mommy says she can't have another kitty (Daddy has a 2-pet limit and Mommy knows she really couldn't afford to spoil us all if there was another). But would that actually be a solution? Or would that create more nighttime chaos? |  |  | |  |
