Well, I like to scratch the sofa, which is why I wear soft paws. Meowmy's Mom doesn't want her furniture destroyed. I like to countersurf. I like to take straws out of cups, knocking the drink onto the floor. I have slashed up some tomatos. I destroy all of my toys. I can be a little mouthy, meaning gentle bites sometimes. Otherwise, I'm an angel and very docile and loving..
-I’ve been jumping up on Meowmy’s dresser drawer mirror lately. It’s REALLY high with an ornate curly-que design in the center that reaches a couple of feet from the ceiling. I jump up there and sit (and Meowmy stands below me all worried that I can’t get down, MOL!). And I’ve knocked down Meowmy’s lamp jumping down.
-I bite the edge of Meowmy’s bedroom furniture (I’m teething, I guess).
-Mouthy kitty, here! I nip at my family’s feet when they are wearing socks or have bare feet, and I’ve been known to nip at fingers, arms and thighs!
-I shread toilet paper. I’m the KING of that!
-I wake Meowmy at 3 AM every night, then cuddle up next to her to sleep for 45 minutes to an hour. Then I don't stop bothering her until she gets up.
-I left teeth marks in the new mini blinds.
-My human brother left his headset (with wire) on his bed and I bit the wire separating it from the headset. I did that to THREE HEADSETS. You’d think he’d learn to put them away ….!!!
-I open the little wick drawers my human sister uses to put her eyeliner pencils. And I take her eyeliner pencils and bring them in the living room and play with them.
-But I think the naughtiest single thing I did (MOL) was when Meowmy made a sandwich. She had her two pieces of bread with some type filling and the sandwich was on a dish which was placed on the counter. I came along and sat down on the sandwich. My rear end (you know what part I mean) was ON HER SANDWICH and my tail extended past the sandwich on the counter.
Ewwwwwww!
Meowmy threw the sandwich away. Now she guards her sandwich if I’m around!
MOL!
Billy

About three years ago, I peed on mommy's tote bag. See, mommy's mommy was not well and lived in an assisted living facility, so mommy was often spending time there. Then she fell and was in the hospital, and mommy spent lots of time there. Mommy was also working full time. Hershey was not getting enough lovin' but didn't understand why. Mommy's mom was in the hospital for three weeks and then passed away. About the time mommy was done with the funeral and all that other stuff, I had had enough and expressed my displeasure. Mommy didn't get mad at me though because she understood. She is a good mommy!
Let's see, Mommy has recently found out that I pick fights with Hershey and Rafiki. She always thought they were picking on poor little me when I would go running through the house snarling and growling and hissing and hiding under the bed. A few weeks ago, she woke up in the middle of the night and saw me and Rafiki fighting on her bed. I jumped on his back and was biting him on the neck. She wasn't supposed to see that. She shooed us both off the bed and said she was very disappointed at my behavior. I've been found out ...
Yes, I did sit on the sandwich, MOL! I sat right on top of the bread ! Meowmy was shocked, stopped her right in her tracks and she just stared, MOL! Then she threw the sandwich away!
I'm still settling in, so I haven't been too naughty, but I can be annoying. I like to sleep with momma, but torture her by laying on her pillow, leaning right against her ear, and purring up a storm. I'm also really good at getting my whiskers right up her nose when she's asleep. Drives her a little bonkers.
Hopefully I can start exploring more and getting into more trouble.
Hi Ian! In time your Meowmy will get used to your purring in her ear and it will sooth her to sleep!! I don't know about the whisker pinching her thing, though!
At least when we're all annoying or mischievious our pawrents don't do this to us!
One of the things that drives Daddy crazy is that I love to drink out of his cups of water. He can't leave them anywhere without me finding them and taking a few sips.
