 |  |  |  | I thought about the raveling to. A human would need to examine it frequently to make sure it is okay, probably more bother than lots of people would want to put forth, you're probably right, it isn't safe enough.
I still don't wear a collar myself, I take them off immediately. I have a microchip, however. My sister, Ming seems to like to wear a collar. They break open with 5 lbs of force, so as long as a kitty is more than 5 lbs and strong enough to exert 5 lbs of pull, they can take them off if they get hooked. Mum wouldn't recommend any collar for kittens or feeble kitties or kitties who are major spazzes, though. Ming has no chip, so she needs her ID tag. |  |  |  |  |
