 | |  | | So here we are again. Closing in on GOFA day { April 10th}.
For the past 2 years my bro Oz and I have hosted a photo contest.
We are gearing up to hold our 3rd annual right now.
There are many new faces {new to me anyway as I have been gone from here for quite some time} so let me tell you all a little bit about myself and about how it works.
My name is Meatball { Meaty to my pals} and I have been a member here for almost 3 years. We haven't been as active here lately as we used to be and we'd like to get back on track. GOFA has been our thing and the perfect excuse to jump back in with all four ....... er, eight paws.
We see many new faces and potential new pals!
We will be needing prize sponsors. ANYTHING is appreciated. If you're crafty and want to donate a handmade item .... GREAT! If you're lacking the creative gene {like my Mom} there are still TONS of ways to pitch in. {A gift of Zealies or Plus, a magazine subscription,a donation in the winners name to a local rescue or the SPCA, make an animation for a winner, etc etc etc}
The official contest tag is GOFA '08
For anywoof that would like to make a prize donation please let me know by 3/15 so that I may compile a final list to post. The more sponsors we get, the more prizes we can award!
So far we have three Nice start!
Contest entries must be tagged no later than 4/8 to allow for judging time { the first year we had close to 300 entries! }
Prizes will be awarded 4/10 on the official GOFA day.
One entry per dog~ NOT per pack, per dog. Bridge dogs too of course! Prize sponsors MAY pawticipate and will be shown no extra favor by judges.
Any medium is excepted { stills, animations, photoshopped, not, color, black & white .... you get the idea} There MUST be orange .... and you of course!
Be goof-ay or be serious. Most importantly be creative! You never know what may catch a judges eye.
Judges will be seated in the next day or so and this post will be edited to announce them..
Okay everywoof have at it and HAVE FUN SUPPORTING THE SPCA!
PS : To receive prizes that will arrive by post you must be willing to share an address for delivery. Often times it can be worked out with a go between that knows both the winner and the giftee so please do not worry about giving your information out to a stranger.We would never encourage that.
