Hey there everycat! I'm sorry that I've been away so much. Our lives have been really crazy down here in Texas!
We used to have so much fun in this group. I think that everycat here is so amazing and deserves a really fun group to hang out with! Let's see what we can do about that!
We've played games before that were awful fun. Trivia and stuff like that. We've also set up kitties to encourage other kitties that need help. Let's do something like this again! If you read this post, please post any ideas you have. Also, let's try connecting with these kitties in the group and letting them know that we're gonna try and get really active again!
Thank you to all of the kitties that have remained faithful to OKR and have held down the fort. You're lifesavers! Let's prove that orange kitties really do Rock!!!!!!

hmm, in one of my brothers' groups (the labbies), they're currently teasing each other with challenges to come up with the best limericks (based on their names) in honor of St Paddy's day. (Falstaff says it's no fair since he can't come up with a single word that rhymes with his name!).
wait - I might have the same problem as Falstaff... lemme try to think of something else...
I would very much like to see these kitties active again. Some of the best kitties I know are here, and I would love to get the newbies all excited about this group.
Putting my thinking cap on and wondering what to do...
With St. Paddy's day and Easter coming up maybe we could tell our orange furrends what we like best about spring? I like when mom and dad open the windows and we can smell the fresh air
Some way to get together and sorta REmeet everyone. So many new kitties probably do not even know you or Queenie or JV or Manna fur example. It would be a great place to meet, greet, share why we are a part of this group, how you older members know eachother, and start tossing around what we all have in common. That seems like the way to get started again.
Problem is, that lotts of kitties have to come. And I am newly admin in a group fur the 1st time, and I understand the difficulty in getting many kitties in one place at the same time.
Do you think it is feasable? Maybe it can be a certain thread- like a day or 2 long party, as long as a few of us pawmise to be especially active on it and make it more party-like. Or maybe we can start the thrtead a day in advance fur the contests, then have the party at the end. When we pick winners, and can actually talk in real time.
Also, I think we would have to send out actual pawmail invites to the older active kitties and say the last 50 new members to get them to come.
I do not think many kitties check back here enough to see what is new going on.
We could have contests and games in the party itself. Maybe costume, maybe door prizes- like guess a number from 1 to 50. Maybe a 30 word paragraph on what it means to be Orange, and have a couple judges decide at the end. I also like Nittany's limmerick idea. Or haiku, or some short poem.
Rossies to be gotten, kitties to be met, and a THEME!!! That all spells a great party to me.

Anything I can do to help, Amber, purrlease let me know!!!!!! I can pawmail, I can supply rossies fur prizes. Maybe 1 or 2 harder contests would get some zeelies!! Who doesn't love free zeelies???

I think it's a great idea guys!!! I know I'm not too active no more but it's not cause I don't wanna be, it's cause mama is so tired now! she is getting up at 6 am which is really early fur her and she's so tired when she get's home. Thanks fur all the pawresents and to my sweet Amber, you are the best pawresent I could ever get But, if there is a dance, I wanna sweep my girl on the dance floor and get our groove on!!!
