Hi Everyone
I was recently diagnosed with diabetes and I am a little scared. I was never overweight and somehow this disease grabbed a hold of me and due to losing 2.5 pounds my mommy forced me to see the vet. It looks like I will have to get two shots per day and mommy is nervous because she has to be gone alot and is afraid that whomever watches me they might forget to give me a shot or give me too much medicine. As far as diet I am and always have been a picky eater and she is afraid I won't like whatever the vet wants me to eat. Does anyone out there know if I can kick this disease, if it is hard to get the shots, if there is anything to help my mommy with this? Any and all info would be so appreciated. Thank you.

Sorry you have to go through this. I know it is scarey, but it is real easy to give them shots. It is also a very small amount. I think everything will be fine one you get the hang of it.
