What are your thoughts on giving rawhide treats? My dog loves them but I read recently that they are not good for her. What does everyone think??wave

I do not give my pets rawhide. I know they love them... But I feel they are too risky. I feel they can have problems digesting them or choke on them. JMO

I prefer to not have them around, right now Maggie is teething and rawhide is the only chewy treat out of many I've tried she's interested in so they are around for now but only when I can supervise them. Once they get down to a certain size they're taken away and a new one given to help prevent any choking confused

Some rawhide treats can carry salmonella as well. This can be harmful to your humans.

Has anyone heard anything about Dingo rawhide treats. I love them and mommy gives me one a day to calm me down when I'm overexcited. I heard rawhide can get stuck in my tummy. Anyone have any good advice or alternative to chew on. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.thinking
