What Do You Do to Show Your 'Tude?

I sit and watch my mama play with the kitty wand or throw little kitty balls or play the light on the wall. I just watch. I think it takes some 'tude to watch her play and wait a while to start to play. I'm a cat after all.

I use gentle persuasion to get Mom to do whatever I want her to do. If I want my treat, I rub up against the fridge whenever Mom is near the kitchen. If I want to play laser, I tap her arm. If I want to be brushed or petted, I wait for her on the bath mat. She can't step out of the tub without noticing me.

I use eye contact and cute little meows to try and get my way. And I claw the back of Mom's chair. If Mom doesn't do what I want after a few tries, I go and find my sister Lucky and take a round out of her.

Bite feet in the night
Chase my sisfur
Jump up everywhere
When my dad goes out jump up on the window and hang off of itlaugh out loud
Think everything is mine (especially lunch and dinner)
Steal the dog's toys
Steal the dog's kibbles
Steal the dog's beds
Cry for my laser pointer
Cry to get more food
Wake up at 4am for food
Make the laundry basket into my bed
Swipe at the hand that feeds me
Be awake at all the hours that the humans sleeping

Is that enough to give me a 'tude?

One punch at Foucault shows that I have a "tude. Oh and when the dogs get mad at me I don't run away like a certain little brother. I have a 'tude that says, hey, I'll leave when I wanna. And I come right back to them.wink

When I want soemthing i MrOOOWWW in a very naggy way (it makes mom nuts!). I also will smack at her hands very very fast after she gives me pets. I just have to uphold my image as a snarky old broad!

Ok, it's ok for mom to come love on me when i am in my napping chair (she gives me head bonks and chin scritches....mmmm....and cheek rubs too!)

I show my 'tude ALWAYS!!! I am the mistress of my universe!!! I parade around with my tail straight in the air (ok there is a little curve on top)...if i want something and mom and dad can't figure it out or ignore me, i start swatting things off the counters, tables, mantles...also leaping up the walls to knock pictures off...climbing the moldings in the doorways....generally being a pest and a 1/2. I also get loving when I SAY!!!! I know how to be oh so sacharine sweet!!! I meow really cute and look up at mom or dad and touch their leg with one paw and kind of lift myself up a bit....oh it is quite an exceptional move!!! It is guaranteed with success!!!

weeeellllll. when I want food I will scratch on the carpet to get my mom's attention..... when I want water I must have them put the toilet seat lid down so I can get up on to the bathroom counter..... I will get really mad if my mom doesn't get to her chair soon enough so I can lay on her lap at night. and when I am soooooo very fed up with the whole....why haven't you done what I want you to do when I said to do it...then I will pee on the bathmat or what ever else is in the bathroom...... I am pretty sure that counts as tude.
