It works! Mommy has been giving me TTouch and other massages and I love it! It has awaken the ability in me to really PURR and trust.

I look forward to these TTouches every day. I actually meoooooooooow for them. I roll around and do full body s t r e t c h e s whenever I'm touched. I love tummy rubs and never, ever bite or scratch Mommy.

I was afraid of being touched by humans for over a year. This is great progress for me trusting a human enough to touch me even on my tummy!

When Mommy first saw me coming to her home to eat the remainders of Cammie Rose's (her outdoors-loving cat) food a couple of summers ago, I would run whenever she would open the door. Then last summer, she started giving me my own dish and began touching me on my ears and back of my head only with a little tree twig.

I'm now an indoors kitty. She is currently trying to pick me up and I let her do that for about a minute. Before she's allowed to pick me up, I have to have my TTouch/massage session as it relaxes me and helps me to trust her more.

She's working on trying to get me to sit on her lap and at present, I'm not ready to sit on anybody's lap. In time, she thinks I will.

Mommy attended a seminar on TTouch at the Alexandria Welfare League of Alexandria, VA. about five years ago. They showed her various methods to use. They also said to start touching a scared animal with a little stick or twig on the tips of its ears and back portion of its head and graduate to the tips of your fingers after the animal feels comfortable with the stick.

I'd like to hear from other kitties on TTouch and how it has helped them.
