Our friends need some help, their beloved dog is very sick! Our friends have 2 pups, Molly a blue healer and Ducky a weimaraner/irish wolfhound mix. They are both very wonderful and full of life and energy. On Christmas however, Ducky apparently ate something and has been very sick since. She's been at an animal hospital up until this morning. The vets think that she has an obstruction and says she needs surgery. The vets at the animal hospital said it would cost around $3200 total and our friends don't have that kind of money. They love both of their dogs very much, they are their lives. I want to help them myself and would pay for it myself if I had the money but we just recently paid a bunch for our dog who got attacked on Thanksgiving. Any help would be welcomed, donations especially. They don't have the internet but I'll sign on frequently and keep them posted. This afternoon they are calling some regular vets instead of an emergency clinic in hope that she can get her surgery for a little less than the $3200. I'll update when I know where they'll be taking her. Any suggestions on how to take donations before then are welcomed also.
Thanks in advance for any help!!!!

Update:
They are both better now, thank goodness. They were both just laying around for a few days, slowly eating and building up energy. Could have been a dog cold/flu, they looked like I usually feel when I'm sick. Ducky didn't poop anything but poop, so it's safe to say they'll be changing her food to something that isn't mostly corn meal, yea! We're all thinking she was pluged up with cornmeal poo instead of nonfood stuff, lol Ducky has a look in her eye now like she's learned some sort of lesson, that's always good right? They have gained almost all the pounds they lost and hopefully a few extra (Ducky was already a little underweight) not to mention they both have all if not more energy and spunk!

We're all very glad Ducky and Molly got better and their mom and dad are sure glad they didn't pay all that money for a surgery that obviously wasn't what was needed!

They still have an outstanding bill at the emergency vet, so if there is anyone out there who would like to still help, I'll post the name and phone number of the place after I see them tonight. This part is my idea, they aren't asking for help with their outstanding bill but they do need it. I just went through the huge vet bill ordeal and I know how hard it is to recover from multiple zeros, especially between Christmas and rent day!

Thanks for any and all prayers and thoughts!
