Are any of you GSD'S working dogs? Blade is....he worked for NYCK9 in NYC,during 9/11 he's one of the dogs that survived since then applause. He's a really great dog and is old and retired now. If any of your GSD'S are working dogs let me know.! laugh out loud

My sister Carmen worked in Oklahoma after the bombing. She died 3 years ago. I am a service dog. I do SAR work, but Mom retired me this year due to my age and I was starting to slow down- but I'm still pretty doggone quick!! I now work as a therapy dog with my other GSD sister and brother as a therapy dog at a juvenile detention center with at risk teens. I love my work.

We are thinking about it. Mom can't decide what type of work I would love doing. She's thinking search and rescue. Right now we are working on what she calls basic obedience.
