I mostly stay inside all day and am always looking for new ways to exercise and be entertained.

I'm interested to know about other Cats favourite toys and games, especially home-made toys.

Hi Hermione,

My name is Sneezer. I joined a while ago but I don't think I've posted since then. So I'm sort of a newbie too big grin

I am an indoor kitty too. My favorite toys are rolled up balls of tinfoil. About the size of a large marble or bigger. They are shiny and fun to chase up and down the hallway. My roommates L and R throw them for me to fetch as well.
I used to play with string and yarn also but I have a habit of eating it and it causes problems later on...red face [eww] Not to mention it's just bad for me. So I don't play with yarn any more.

Hi, fellow black kitties.
My name is Raven and I am ga-ga over milk & juice rings. cheer
I just love when my mom opens a new container and lets me have the circle of plastic under the cap. She doesn't let me have all of the rings that she has collected because I will play with them so much that they will break apart. When my current one gets a little beat up she leaves me a new one on top of the fridge where she knows I'll look for it. I love having a milk ring fairy. big grin

Jasper and I had a birthday party a few weeks ago. The lady next door brought us these cloth pillowy things...about the size of a pillow barbie could use. Well Well Stuffed with Catnip. Great present. Jasper especially loves it...licks it...flips it over his head and looks all googly eyed...I then parade around him like a boxer and get my shots in...LOL

My cat tunnel. Leopard-print on the outside, crinkly paper texture on the inside, and portholes to look out of. Check out my photo album to see it!

As far as home made toys go, you can't beat a furry mouse tied to a string! But I also have a habit of eating string so I don't get to play with that one too often, at least not unsupervised.
The Star Chaser is nice too, it has a scratch mat in the middle and comes with cat nip, it is fun and you sure do get a workout!

My siblings and I love the tower that daddy built (and rebuilds) for us. It's got wood and rope and carpet. I also loved his temperature gun (red laser) so much when he was using it to test the A/C that Mommy went and got a laser toy for us. I always know when she's getting it out to play with us, though sometimes she fakes me out 'cause its not the only thing she stores in the same place, but I can always convince her to play with it even when I'm wrong and that wasn't what she was getting.
