Swimming in the summer

	So guys how many of you like to go swimming?

	Jake has only got to swim a couple of times. The first time was in a shallow creek. Then, a couple weekends ago on his birthday we took him to the river for his first water retrieves. He was a natural (of course!). I plan to try and take him 1 or 2 times a month because he enjoyed it so much. It is also great exercise and not as hard on joints as regular retreiving is!

	The first time I went swimming was in the lake. Daddy walked out into the shallow water and here I went!! SPLASH!! What a pro I was! We've been several times since, and I go out a little further each time. The water is awesome! But Bo is too little to go yet. He has to settle for the kiddie pool at home.

	Hello doggies, we have a pond, and we get to go swimming almost everyday. I went to swimming like a pro at 9 weeks old. My mom couldn't believe it, my first time to the pond she thought I would just splash around, but I retrieved & swam out over my head. Well I am a lab and that is what labs do. bol. I love to jump on top of Meg when she is trying so hard to catch a fish. Sometimes she gets mad at me, but I just act like I don't hear her & just keep playing in the water. bol We all love to swim.

	Wow! That's so cool! We live on the golf course and there are two ponds, but we don't get to go when people are playing.
