I was adopted from a local animal rescue group, the Coalition for Animal Protection one day when my older bro, Bixit, went to the vet. I was there with my litter brothers and seemed outgoing enough. The car ride home must've traumatized me, though, because I hid in a spare room behind moving boxes for a few days. Every time my new Peoples would move a box, I'd skitter away like a spider. My original name was Spyder. But as I became more comfortable and vocal, I bounced around the house saying "Ooo-ooo-ooo-ahh-ahh." I had a curly tail and a very simian walk. That's where the Monkey part of my name came from. And since I stuck my stinky kitten butt in my Peoples faces, they tagged the Butt part of my name to the end! |  |  | |  |
