We live in the Bay Area and love it here. We live on a tiny island in the East Bay called Alameda mom calls it" Beavercleverville" lots of beautiful Victorian houses and tree lined streets and where you know your neighbors and they watch out for each other . We live very close to a school and I can hardly wait for school to start so I can watch the kids coming to school and going home in the afternoon.

Alameda is a nice place. Expensive but nice. We're up in Yuba City where it's a lot hotter, but a lot cheaper.

I think I'd rather like the city, but I don't think Mom and Dad like the traffic much.

Before we came into her life my mom lived in Alameda for many years and loved it. It's a beautiful little town and has great weather. She called it The Bay Area's Best Kept Secret!

Now she lives in San Francisco and loves living here too. Of course now that she has Little Bit and me she would love living anywhere as long as we are with her - right?

We live in Squaw Valley in central California. (When Mom tells people that we live in Squaw Valley, they usually think she's referring to a ski resort near Lake Tahoe, but the original Squaw Valley is a wide spot in the road in eastern Fresno County about 1/2 hour west of Sequoia National Park.) Mommy was born and raised in San Francisco but lived in Auburn (near Sacramento) for many years before moving out to the country four years ago. And I'm so glad that she and Daddy moved here, or I never would've been rescued and probably wouldn't be here to write this message now!

We live in southern Cali in the Inland Empire, Fontana, to be exact. It's an hour from L.A. and we have a view of the mountains. We get wicked winds and heat like the desert! eek
