Begging for medicine?

I know this sounds really strange, but does any other kitty beg for their human's medicine? I seem to think it's for me instead of for Mom. Vitamins, birth control (both Mom and Dad laugh at that one!), anxiety meds, ... ?

i could understand why you would beg. its about the same size as kibble and treats... maybe they taste really good. mom's birth control is in the bedroom/bathroom, and not near my food, so thats not an issue for me... and she doesnt take vitamins that often (bad girl). anytime i see any food though, i'm begging... even dog *cough* food. i ate a whole bag of her treats... thought they were for me!

if your parents want to discourage the begging, you should get no attention for reacting to the pills. you could even be shown the pills and allowed to sniff them then told "no" or "leave it" and given something yummy when not looking at or paying attention to the pills. try that method first. the pills should be the least interesting thing. if that doesnt work, then maybe hiding the pills or ignoring you.
