I just can't figure this out.. Mom says I'm either orange, cream or buff tabby. Mom has called me all three. Can anycat tell what color I am?

From looking at your pictures, I'd say orange. But, it's not uncommon for one person to consider a cat to be orange and another person to consider the same cat to be buff/cream. So, don't take my word for it. (Below is the technical version of the color genetics associated with red.)

The red-based (phaeomelanistic) colors have much less variation. Red is usually described as orange or "marmalade", but some red cats have rather pale pigmentation and so people may describe them as yellow. Cream is the dilute form of Red, and is described as a buff color.

Thanks Joey! After reading what "red" means I think I would be orange, too. But for prettiness' sake, I am going to call myself "Strawberry Blonde". cheer
