I am named after Faye from "Cowboy Bebop". My mom figured there were already enough corgis named Ein, and she already had one named Ed. I certainly didn't look like a Spike or a Jet.

It was gonna be Reigna O.o Sissy didn't know how to spell it but it was off of one of her favorite anime's she coudn't put her finger on.. *drools over anime* big grin

i have to go first (cause my new pup sister is also from this anime)

my name is from cowboy bebop (like faye up there). my real brothers and i were named different characters from the anime. there was Jet, the biggest, Ed (a boy! *humph*) who was aloof, and myself named Faye at first. when mom got me she was appaled that a boy would be named Edward! so she said i was Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivirsky the 4th, and i live up to my name every day. i am soooo strange. i am smart (like Ed) and super creepy (like Ed) lol. i also have OCD, but thats another story. lol

anyway, because there were two ed's, ed's parents named him something completely random, but jet's name is still jet.

(ps... mom had to look up my full name. my microchip is registered under my full name. lol)

Ein

mom and the boyfriend picked out my name before i was even born. they knew they were getting a dog (breed unknown) and were going to name is Ein because Ed and Ein are buddies in Cowboy Bebop, and ein's a dog.

then mom found a corgi breeder and it was destiny. i was named Ein for sure. now Ed doesnt think i'm all that great.... at this point in time, but i'm sure she'll love me in a few months smile

mom says Ein is a perfect name for me cause i'm sooo smart smile

Chihiro

I'm named after Chihiro in "Spirited Away," my mom's favorite Miyazaki film. She wanted to name me Deunan, from "Appleseed," or even Briareos if she'd picked a boy kitty, but her roommate said absolutely not. Chihiro was the only name they agreed on, and I think it's perfect. =^_^=

Winry

I'm named after a character in Fullmetal Alchemist. Since I only have 3 legs, Mommy thought that the name "Winry" was a good fit, since the anime character Winry makes artifical limbs.

In the anime, Winry actually has a 3-legged doggie named Den, but he was a boy doggie and I am a girl! puppy
