I love to sit there alone and relax, but now all my brothers and sisters do too so I sneak to another sink when they are not looking and enjoy it by myself !!
Well, it really depends on my mood! If I am thirsty--I meow until my humans come and turn the water on for me (hee hee) then I drink from the faucet. If I am sleepy, I like to find a spot that I can curl up in and that hugs my body, sometimes that ends up being the sink! And lastly, If I am in a playfull mood-when humans turn the water on I will bat at the stream and sometimes even do tummersaults in the sink!! Or, I will try to reach up into the mirror cabinet and knock things like tweezers into the sink! I crack myself up!!
In my oficial picture at my page, I'm on the sink, when I was younger I loved to lay there and sleep, now I learned to drink water from the faucet! I wait to a human go to the bathroom, then I follow him, jump on the sink and keep lookin to the faucet! They already know what this means... Smart humans. Then they turn the water on and, before I start drinking the water, I always put my paw in it, not to play with it or to try to catch it, just to make sure that's really water and that the temperature is good. Then I calmly drink all the water I want (and keep the humans waiting to turn it off).
I PEE in the sink, & I'm "Proud-of-It"!! I sorta have a little "Behavioural" problem, & Momma Carol is doing "Behaviour-Modification" with me, by letting/encouraging me (to) do this. Otherwise, I just Pee on the rugs or someplace like that! This is apparently a "Carry-Over" from my past owners, who had me De-Clawed, & I let them know how I felt about it, by Pee-ing wherever I pleased! (Not a Health Issue) But Momma Carol can "flush" by just rinsing the sink. She also Praises me, tells me "Good-Girl", "Good-Job", & gives me Snacky-Treats!Read my Bio, for more info, on how I came to be in my present Home. I guess I Peed in the "Wrong Place" one time too many, for my former owners! I like to lounge in the Bathtub, where I can sprawl-out in the coolness, especially in Summer. We live in the CA. Hi-Desert, & it really gets hot here!
I Love water, & I chase the Drips from the faucet, & try to catch them or drink them! I do this in the Bathtub, too. I guess Momma Carol had better fix that Leaky-Faucet, huh? (it would save $$ on her Gas Bill) I also let Momma squirt me in the face, (preferably in my mouth) with a spray bottle. She tried to use this to discipline me, but I Fooled her! I like it! Maybe there's a little Turkish Van, somewhere in my Genes! Sometimes she adds Blue Food Color to the sprayer, & sets a Tote-Lid up against the wall, & squirts at it, & I chase the droplets & catch them. I end up with "Blue-Paws" somehow...
