 | | | | Hi everyone I don't come in and out to often these days. Somewhere between cleaning house and looking for a job Things get too busy.
I am sad about heartworm preventative this yeasr. Foxxy can't have heartgard or anything with ivermectin in it and her usual interceptor is not going to be on the market until July this year. We have to have Revolution, and I'm not too sure how good it's going to work.
She got better from her Thanksgiving day hematoma. Cats sure hit hard! She had a huge shiner for 2 whole weeks and had to have a shot for th eswelling, but at least we convinced the doctor that it wasn't a bad tooth. Some doctors really make you feel guilty for not wanting to spend money. I knew it had to be either allergy or bad bruise and it turns out to be a bad bruise. No more kitty capers for this canine.
He 3 year rabies went well. She had to have a benadryl shot first and it took 6 weeks for the lump to go away which is much better than the 10 weeks it took last time when they gave her a combo. that darn shot give us the worries every time. The parvo/distemper doesn't bother her a bit.
We managed to get into the christmas garbage and gobled turkey bones, but no problems Veerrry lucky pups. Thank goodness they know how to chomp up the bones or we could have had real trouble. Since then Husband has learned to take out the garbage when the wife says take it Because they have learned how to tear open a black plastic bag with great finesse.
And it's been WARM here. So we've been out at the leashless park every weekend! | | | | |
