PixieBelle: Phantom is a really cool name. Is there a story behind how you got it?
Phantom: Yes, when I was a kitten and first came into my forever home, I used to attack feet all the time. Dad said it was like a Phantom jet. You knew there was an attack coming, you just never knew from where. Now they say it fits me because if we have company...I'm like a Phantom, no one ever sees me. MOL.
PixieBelle: After many years of having a feline best friend of your own age in your home, you now have a young-squirt kitty named Spice. How is that going?
Phantom: Surprisingly well. After losing Patches, I was so lonely and one night even walked around and mom swore that I said "Where are you?" calling for Patches so they knew I needed a friend. Spice is really, really a cool kitty. She loves to play, run, wrestle and we curl up together and sleep. Mom had hoped we would get along OK, but we get along almost as good as me and Patches did. She has good manners for a youngster and respects me, most of the time.
PixieBelle: Aww. It's good that you get along so well with her! But you're still young enough to be playful yourself, which probably helps a good bit.
You are characterized as a "momma's boy" who loves to snuggle and cuddle. Do you have any special rituals or cuddle-moments with your humans?
Phantom: In the evenings, you can always find me on mom's lap while she is watching TV. At night, I always sleep with mom. But more so, if mom runs upstairs ahead of me, I run up behind her saying MOM, MOM, MOM. Mom will pick me up and carry me around and I just lay back against her and love to be held and purrrrrrrrr.
PixieBelle: Moms do like it when we talk to them - and I guess calling yours by name really gets her attention!
Tell us about your love affair with paper! 
Phantom: Paper balls are totally the best! Mom or dad will wad up some paper and throw it to me and I love to catch it and bat or toss it back with them. I grab it in my paws and can toss pretty good and I'm actually pretty accurate. It's a special game we play and if they don't get it, they get to fetch..MOL. I'm good at batting them around and mom and dad still haven't found all the small ones I have hid and probably never will unless they move.
PixieBelle: Are there any other toys you like?
Phantom: Other toys, I like the catnip mice we have and do the same thing, I love to pick them up and throw them around.
PixieBelle: Do you go outdoors at all, or are you a strictly-indoor kitty?
Phantom: We have a screened in porch that we can go out on when it's nice outside but I don't get to go out. Even on the porch, I don't do that much unless mom is out there.
PixieBelle: What does being an Olde Furt mean to you?
Phantom: Good friends. We joined when Patches got sick a couple years ago, but have made such close friends. It is a huge support group when we lose furs, and so much knowledge there about all kinds of things that go on with us as we age. When we lost Patches, it was a wonderful group who understands that the loss wasn't just the loss of a cat, but of a furbaby and had so many friends who helped me and mom get through that time. I love being an Olde Furt and I love the friends we have in that group. That was the first group we joined and the one we are still active in and enjoy.
PixieBelle: Feel free to add anything else you want your fellow Olde Furts to know about your life!
Phantom: I feel very fortunate to have parents who care so much for us. We are all lucky kitties to have found good forever homes. I was adopted when I was only 5 weeks old and had been in my foster home for 2 weeks, so I got separated from my catmom when I was very young. But I was lucky to find someone who has taken me in and continues to love me no matter what I do..I have a few bad habits...keeping mom up at night, chewing rugs, wrestling matches on the bed with Spice, while mom and dad are sleeping. But no one gets mad at us. I love the things we have learned here when I had the pancreatitis and hope it is a long time before we have to have more medical knowledge for us, but know there is lots of knowledge here if we need it.
