This thread will have recipes for both humans and canines. Please feel free to add a recipe, a quote you say before or after your meal, or request a recipe. My typist has helped put together 4 cookbooks for various charities, so she has lots of recipes. If there is something you are looking for, please ask her and she will try and help you out.

This first recipe we will share is one of my favorites.

Liver Sausage Cookies for Dogs

3 1/2 ounces (100g) coarse rolled oats
3 1/2 ounces (100g) fine rolled oats
5 ounces (150g) farmer's cheese
3 1/2 ounces (100g) liver sausage
6 tablespoons corn oil
1 egg

Mix all the ingredients to make a dough. It should not be too firm. If required, add a little extra water or flour.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Shape the dough into little balls, place them on the baking paper, and flatten them. Place them in the cold oven, set it to 350 F and bake for 30 minutes.

Let the liver sausage cookies cool on a wire rack. Keep them in a cookie tin. If your dog permits, the liver sausage cookies will keep for about 3 weeks.

Here is another recipe for the pawrents

Quinoa Color Salad

Ingredients

1 cup quinoa
2 cups Water
Salt
1 carrot peeled and grated
1 red pepper seeded and diced
1 Cucumber washed and sliced
3 green onion sliced thinly
1 bunch Parsley chopped
The zest and juice of 1 Lemon
¼ cup Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper

1. Rinse the quinoa well in cold running water. This will easily rinse away the natural bitter coating on the seeds. Drain and toss into a small pot. Add the water and season with salt. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Cover with a tight fitting lid, turn the heat to low and simmer until the water is absorbed and the quinoa is tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.
2. Meanwhile get all the colorful veggies ready. Toss them into a bowl and when the quinoa is done, add it as well. Add the lemon and olive oil, toss well, season with salt and pepper and serve.
