My sweet blind sisfur Scarlett is in desperate need of purrs and purrayers. She is an old cat with CRF. This weekend she took a turn for the worst and is now at the vets for a few days of emergency treatment for anemia and for extra sub-Q fluids. On Friday, we will do more blood work and make a decision about whether there's any hope for her or if it's time for her Bridge Journey.

Scarlett's story is so inspiring. Please visit her at:

Meowmy and Purrdaddy love her dearly and need your prayers as well to help them make the best decision for our sweet girl.

Love,
Angel Darcy

We're purring and we're purraying for Scarlett that what is best for her will be done ... mommy read her diary and she's in tears because she remembers as Ralphie grew old and his eyesight got poor, some people told her she should just put him to sleep - some people don't understand that being old and blind is really okay and should not be a death sentence.

God bless Scarlett's mommy, our prayers go out to her as well.

We've had a miracle! Scarlett had more blood work done this AM and the vet just called. Her 'bad number' for CRF was cut in half by the doubled-up fluids. We can bring her HOME today!!!!dancingapplausepartyhamster dancehappy dancesnoopy

We'll increase her fluids to 4x/week rather than 2x/week. With purrs and purrayers, we hope to have her with us to celebrate her one year 'coming home birthday' at the end of November.

We realize her time with us will not be long but she has won our hearts with her courage and trust in the face of all she's endured. Please keep this sweet, gentle soul in your prayers.

Purrs to everyfur for caring about our sweet Scarlett. She is eating better, and we're hoping with the extra fluids each week, she will maintain her current health, at least. She purrs every time she realizes I'm with her, and she still seems happy. Bless you for keeping her in your prayers...

Scarlett continues to eat well, and she's feeling like walking around outside in the sunshine for a while each day. She goes back to the vet next week, so please keep her in your purrayers.

Darcy

We had follow-up blood work done this week and it's not very good news. Scarlett's blood levels were way up again frown. We are going to increase fluids again. She isn't able to find the litterboxes all the time now, and she just isn't feeling well. We've started to debate whether her time is drawing near for her journey to the Bridge. It's such a hard decision, especially when you know the disease is terminal. We don't want to wait too long and have her suffer but want to try to help her feel better if we can. So hard to know the best thing for those you love...

Please keep our sweet girl in your prayers and purrs...

Love,
Darcy
