Gabby wrote a diary entry about it!

and put up a picture of her "Mini-Me" FURminated furball.
Gabby liked it but got a little *antsy* towards the end of our grooming session and would try to get away while Mama was taking the loose hair off of her and out of the FURminator. It was time to stop then.
Even Sweets liked it. Nuk likes being groomed with anything, he's not fussy.
Some bits of advice.
DO NOT wear a color of clothes that is opposite to the color of cat you are grooming.
DO NOT groom on or near an Oriental style wool rug!
There are areas of the cat where you may need to smooth out the skin with one hand and FURminate with the other. (over the shoulder blades and hips)
Short strokes worked better for us than longer strokes.
The Cat Tool FURminator has a solid weight to it, a nice "heft" and a nicely gripped non-slip handle. The tool itself is well balanced in a way that it's not unwieldy.
The deshedding blade is a nice width on the Cat Tool but is not able to be replaced. The Tool does come with a sturdy plastic cover that should keep the deshedding blade protected over time.
We are very pleased with ours! Thank YOU FURminator! | | | | |
