Late to Lame

I have never been lame and mom is glad of that.

67 is pretty cool for this time of year, but it seems like we have had lots of days like that around here. We are supposed to be in the 70't today, but it is rainy. Sounds like lots of the country is supposed to be getting storms today.

Lame to Name

I usually came when mom called my name...unless I thought a bath might be involved of course!laugh out loudlaugh out loudlaugh out loud

This weather is very strange for mid June. It is only 61 right now. NY is also in the midst of some very rainy and stormy weather. Mom read in the weather report that the northeast is awaiting a "derecho" which will bring extreme winds and rain....sounds like a hurricane to mefrownfrown Mom's worried because she didn't tie up her patio furniture or move her plants and trees. Hopefully the windy part will mostly bypass NY She is expecting about 4 inches of rain though.confused

Name to Nape

If I get scared sometimes the little hairs on the nape of my neck will stand up!

Sounds like nasty weather Alexandra. I hope the winds do pass you by. But gosh 4 inches of rain could be a mess too. I have never heard of a derecho before.

Nape to Cape

I had a trendy little "Burberry" style raincoat cape for rainy days. I did not really enjoy wearing it though.shhshh

Well luckily mom did not get 4 inches of rain, although it did rain a fair amount. The winds did not really happen either. BOL!!laugh out loudlaugh out loud Mom thinks the weather people just come up with these trendy names for storm systemslaugh out loudlaugh out loudlaugh out loudlaugh out loud

Cape - Cage

Sometimes when Yoda is naughty, mom has to put him in a cage. ( Well I like to think of it as a cage, but really it is my dog kennel)

I was at the groomer this morning and mom had them dye the tips of my ears a nice blue color. Well it was supposed to be blue, but it turned out to be more of a turquoise color. It does look kind of cool though. Mom took a couple pictures. She will post one when she can.

Cage to sage

Mom thinks Poodles show a sage wisdom in their faces!

Marley, your turquoise ear tips are beautiful! You truly are on the cutting edge of poodle fashion!!
Mom's way of "time out" for Avalon is closing her bedroom door. Avalon has a habit of climbing onto mom's vanity table in the middle of the night and knocking her cosmetics onto the floor, so mom puts her out of the bedroom and closes the door. Avalon then patiently waits outside mom's door until morninglaugh out loudlaugh out loud

sage to sale

Mom says she would never put me up for saleshock

Thanks for the compliments on my ears. I am kind of liking the color now!

Wow your mom is lucky if Avalon just waits patiently for the bedroom door to open again. If mom did that to Yoda he would just stand there and yowl. And he is very loud!!

bale to ball

I love to play with my little mini tennis ball.

I don't think a time out works for cats either. They have their own agenda and seem to get their way eventually one way or the other. Be glad Avalon isn't a big meower. I am not sure 'meower' is even a wordlaugh out loud
