	Mommy did a lot og GOTV and standing at the polls with signs. Daddy was running for State Rep...so they went from poll to poll all day. They had what mommy called a lot of totam poll signs, with the whole Dem ticket....Obama/Kerry/State senate candidate and daddy.... Mommy came home about 7:00PM to change, and daddy got here at 8PM right after the polls closed....They had folks call in the numbers of just daddy's race...and mommy cried when daddy won!!...they went to their election night pawty, and then it got even better at about 9:30pm when Obama was the projected winner on CNN. The quietest man was standing on the bar chairs...MOL GO DEMS

	Mommy and Daddy both took election day off from work so they could canvas a neighborhood in Fresno, CA for a few hours but there was no one home at most of the houses and those few who were home had already voted (for Obama!). Then they went back to Democratic HQ and worked phones for a couple more hours, and then they went to a big celebration party at the Holiday Inn with several hundred other Obama supporters and watched the returns on a big-screen TV. We kitties had to stay home but got the good news when Mommy and Daddy got back home late at night. What a great day it was for America, and for Americats!!
