 | | | | Hey, gang - My mom's made friends with the lady who runs the cat shelter here near Mom's cabin; it's in Appalachia, so it's not the richest area. As in all areas, people are not always kind to furpeople, either. Well, a few days ago, someone brought to the shelter (which is an old house trailer) two tiny kittens they'd found on the roadside. One was covered with maggots and soon went to Rainbow Bridge.
The other li'l guy, though, is still here. My mom donated money to sponsor him, and she got to name him - Frosty, in memory of the first feral she ever trapped and had neutered.
Li'l Frosty is only about 3 weeks old! He had his vet visit yesterday and weighed in at only 7 ounces! Can you imagine?! Cathy, the lady who runs the shelter, is feeding him every 4 hours around the clock. Mom got to hold him for a long time the past coupla days; he is so, so tiny! Can you please spare some purrs for him, that he'll grow and thrive and find a furever home where he'll be loved? He deserves it after the way he's suffered.
Thank you so much. | | | | |
