Message:  Dear Mom and Dad  I died today.  You got tired of me and took me to the shelter. They were overcrowded and I drew an unlucky number.  I am in a black plastic bag in a landfill now. Some other puppy will get the barely used leash you left. My collar was too dirty and too small, and the lady took it off before she sent me to the Rainbow Bridge.  Would I still be at home if I hadn’t chewed your shoe? I didn’t know what it was, but it was leather and it was on the floor.  I was just playing.  You forgot to get puppy toys.   Would I still be at home if I had been housebroken?  Rubbing my nose in what I did only made me ashamed I had to go at all.  There are books on obedience teachers that would have taught you how to teach me to go to the door.  Would I still be at home if I hadn’t brought fleas into the house?  Without anti-flea medicine I couldn’t get them off me after you left me in the yard for days.  Would I still be at home if I hadn’t barked?  I was only saying, “I’m scared, I’m lonely, I’m here, I want to be your best friend”.  Would I still be at home if I had made you happy?  Hitting me didn’t make me learn how.  Would I still be at home if you had taken the time to care for me and to teach me manners? 	ROYAL PURR AUGUST 12, 2008 EDITION Earlier this month, CATSTER & FABREEZE teamed up to provide a FREE GIFT for all catster/dogsters to give out to our furiends. The Fabreeze Blue Collar!!! This has helped many non-plus members be able to give gifts to all their friends. Thanks Catster & Fabreeze Let's hope this lasts a long time hehehe. Rainbow Bridge: Boudin crossed Rainbow Bridge Sunday August 3. His pals made many tribute pics to put on their pages. Wee Gordi 2 months old also crossed the bridge August 3. He was Swee' Pea's lil brother Mr Suede and his family lost a dear furiend from Dogster Wed Aug 6. Sparky was doggie Spinner's BFF and Tinkerbell Angel fiancee. Ashley crossed the bridge on august 8. He had been sick for awhile. He crossed peacefully in his sleep. *You will all be greatly missed on this side of the rainbow.* More news: Kisser posted how important it is to be a mentor on catster/dogster. Smokey found a lump on her chin. She went to the vet and found that it was an infected bite wound. The Vet doc gave her antibiotics and had to stay inside for a week! Make sure to wear some protective gear while you are out guarding the yard . July 31 there was The Great American Backyard CAMPOUT held at the fancypants cafe. Pooky found a video of a Thirsty Cat. Smokey posted new pics on her page!! Wanda's August 4th cartoon and August 11 th cartoon! Thank you very much sweetie!
