Hi ! I have a coworker that lives on a farm in a that is very tenderhearted to pets. The community has taken note of that and her property has become a dumping zone for puppies non- stop. Fortunately for the pups, she has the financial means to provide the medical care and does her best to find homes for all she can. But on average she has 30-40 dogs she is caring for. Currently she has a barn, but will be building a home on a different property within the year. She plans to have the "dog-house" attached to her home, with individual rooms, heating, cooling, windows for each dog and have it bricked on the exterior to match her home. There will be a separate room for food and laundry.Has anybody in this group ever tried anything like this? Any suggestions. I thought maybe looking into how kennels set things up. Her pups are her kids, but as you know, housing is not cheap, no matter how deep your pockets are.hug

Hello. My owner is going to build me something as well.We have a big storage shed that we don't use,and we were ging to attach a well sized dog kennel to the shed, that way thedogs could have access to the outside as well as inside if cold or rainy.I am an inside dog,but if my owner has to do something and she can't take me with her, that is what the kennel is for.

Hope I have been some help,
Buck
