Ben - Sad GSD

Ben - Sad GSD pic #2

This absolutely pitiful dog is at the Pikeville KY. animal shelter.... We were told he was broken hearted to see his owner walk away, but then we saw the pictures of this boy and tears started rolling.....His owner walked in with him, said he's around 3 years old and a good dog, but he just didn't want him anymore. He didn't even tell them his name... We named him Ben.. A picture is worth a thousand words, needless to say that This dog cried when he left. Does anyone have any room and any love to show this boy, because he sure needs it now... Please call the shelter ASAP if you can help him.. The shelter with only 12 kennels took in 80 animals in 2 days..... Owner surrenders go first... Please help us save Ben.......

That is so sad, we are crying. Mama wishes she had room for all the homeless dogs. We hope that someday the owner of this animal is faced with the horrible thing that he/she did to his poor dog. People are so mean. That's why mama loves her dogs more and more everyday.cry

Hi I am Max I was adopted by my mommy from San Francisco Animal Control. She was looking at all the doggies there. I was found by mommy all alone in a cage. She fell in love with me right away. So now I am her service companion. I love to give her kisses cheercheercheerapplauseapplauseapplauseapplause

I was rescued from the pound! laugh out loud I was only a tiny puppy and I was in a cage with a pomeranian puppy and a black and white mixed breed pup. The pound guy said I would be medium sized, the pomeranian would be small, and the black and white mutt would be large. There were like eight black and white mutts that all looked similar. I also rememeber a sad, old purebred german shepherd there. My onwer got me out of my cage and held me like a baby. I couldn't stop looking at her. This was my new owner! I am now five years old. Mom thinks I'm a beagle/collie mixed with who knows what else! When I came into heat I was DEFINITELY pregnant. They would be part blue merle astralian shepherd, part black dachshund, and pretty much every dog that my neighbor has (I have four neighbors nearby and one has MILLIONS of hounds, one has tons and tons of vicious mutts, another has a million of dogs every single one of them being part coyote. I saw one once that was the size of a chihuihia and it looked like a coyote! Well, anyway my owner speid me frown. I didn't get to have them. I got hit by a car, and had something wrong with my hip a while back. My owners got me fixed by the vet (they had no choice I was my owner's FIRST dog!) and I had to stay in the laundry room (no dogs are allowed indoors). I couldn't go to the bathroom correctly. Well, I pretty much told you my life story. (only I'm still alive). Well, bye!

Oh thank the great dog that someone rescued him....Mom and Dad have gotten almost all of us at shelters and believe it takes a very cold hearted person to willingly give up any pet...Yes occasionally their is a good reason but Mom and Dad are military people who have to move often and they bend over backwards to make sure we get to stay with them...

When ever someone tells Dad that it would be easier if he gave up his dogs...his response is "That is not an option" I really wish more people felt that way
