Lent is coming and its time to think about something to give up as penance and to think of our Savior's sacrifice.....have any kitties had any good ideas of things to give up for 40 days?

I'm still thinking as to what I should give up during Lent. Not playing with my catnip toys seems like a real stretch for me, but it's something I thought of immediately doing.

I know....the things I should give up are too hard to give up. I need to find something medium-hard.

I know that I would make my mommy & Jesus very happy if I gave up "picking" on Snickers, but I don't know if I can do that! I really, really should because it upsets him & mommy so much. I think I'll pray for strength tonight to be able to do this one.
But in case I fail, I'll give up playing with my favorite foam balls. This is so hard.

It seems to me many humans give up sweets, mainly ice cream. So, I think I'll give up ice cream too! I'll also send up thankful purrayers for all the blessings I have in my life. Purrs from Mister Micky

Since a new Lenten season has begun, please feel free to share how you are preparing yourselves fur the rising of our Lord!

Ma has decided to give up 20-30 minutes of each day to pray a Rosary fur a specific intention.

My mom's been thinking about it, and she thinks saying a nice thing to someone every day during Lent would be good. I know it should be the case EVERY DAY, with or without Lent, MOL, but sometimes she can be a grump, and gets frustrated easily. Even my dad will tell her to chill out, like when they're driving somewhere.

I've been told my resolution should be to stop bullying my cousin Cormac. laugh out loud I don't know how that will pan out!

Well, let us know! I think that is a wonderful idea fur your mother. Sometimes those little things is all it takes to turn a day around fur someone.
