There are 9 of us, plus 3 humans. We live in a 3 bedroom house with approx. 1000 sq. feet of living space. We used to have 7 jumbo litterboxes that lined the whole hallway! Now we have 2 Litter Robots that have saved and revolutionized Meowmy's life! You can imagine the scooping with 9 kitties... lol. No more scooping! Meowmy says they were the best investment she ever made, and she'd like to get another one! But Daddy thinks she's already spent too much money on "sh*t balls" (sorry, but that's what he calls them). He loves us kitties, but he's a cheapskate who doesn't do the scooping!confused

We are five cats in a large 2 bedroom unit, we have one large litterbox between four (we go outside a lot) and a smaller one for Tara. Mummy REEAALLY wants a Litter Robot but you can't get them here that I know of (Aus). Does anyone know? She is also worried that our Zephyr won't be able to fit into it, MOL.

Hello! First of all thank you Zephyr on the GREAT advice on the Litter Robot. There are 6 of us in my house, which is 3000 sq.ft. Our kitty box situation is unique: We have two plastic storage tubs that you buy at the hardware store, that daddy converted into kitty boxes. He cut an access "door way" in the front of each so we can enter and exit. We did it this way because they are very roomy and have high walls (one of us stands while peeing, thus eliminating spraying the walls) they are large and each accomodates almost an entire tub of litter. (which gets scooped 2 times daily)
If finances are in our favor, we are very interested in looking into the Litter Robot...

You're very much welcome, Lily, my friend! wink

Orkney, maybe you could check out Ebay... they sometimes have Litter Robots on there occasionally, that someone might ship to Australia. I can't think of any other solution, except to contact the Litter Robot people directly and ask them if they would ship there. Or if you knew someone in the States who would buy one and then ship it to you. But the combined shipping charges might be pretty expensive in the end... I don't know. Oh, and you probably wouldn't have the warrenty and support options that people in the States have. frown That might be a point of concern if you had a problem with it. Bummer!! I wish you could get them easily!!

Thanks Zephyr. I'll ask Mummy to email the manufacturers and see if they have plans to ship any to Australia. She did look on Amazon.com but they won't ship it out here, and she looked on EBay too but I think your suggestion about getting someone else to buy it and ship it over might be the best bet. Mummy has some relatives in Texas so maybe they could help out.

There are 6 of us in a 3 bedroom house. We have 2 covered spacious liter boxes but I still sometimes go outside the box because i have trouble fitting my big butt in there. So I go right outside the opening. Mommy sweeps it up and than sprays lysol.
