I tried to open one of my presents!

Yesterday my presents from my Secret Santa came! I was SO excited! Mommy put them on the dining room table for now because we don't have our tree yet.

Last night, after Mommy and Daddy were asleep, I climbed up on the table and was sniffing all the presents, trying to guess what was inside! Well, one of them smelled just exactly like...catnip!

When Mommy came downstairs this morning, she noticed one of my presents was missing. She found it on the floor, with the paper all wrinkled and some kitty claw holes in it! MOL! I guess I just could not wait!

Mommy will put it where I can't get to it this time. I am the only cat that goes on the table, so everyone knows it was me! (Giggles!) Everyone thought it was cute, so I did not get in trouble for being naughty!

My present is in a box and Mufasa's is in a big envelope. Mommie won't open either of them yet because she thinks then we'll do exactly what Kiki did!!! She says we don't get them until next week-that seems like a long time to wait!!! Purrrs, Bella

i have not got my present yet - probably a good thing but secret Santa said it was on it's way. But I tried to get in my present to our secret Santa kitty. Mommy was wrapping it and I was helping - well supervising. And it all looks so nice so when Mommy was not looking I would work one of the goodies toward me and she was slide it back. Finally mommy was searching for the tape and when she got back to wrapping she noticed something was missing she looked about and could not find it. I was sitting on it. smile MOL. She caught me red pawed.

I was so excited about when Mommy got for out secret kitty, I can't want to see what my Santa got me. Mommy will have to hide the box though I tried to open the present a few time before it was sent. So I can imagine.

I am new to this secret Santa thing and I just can't understand why I could not have the goodies. But Mommy says to be patient and wait something is coming for me.

Did any other kitties try to get in the gifts that they were sending?

Me and Harley each were secret santas so when mom was trying to wrap and box up everything there was lots of toys on the floor! I kept rolling around playing with everything (even if it was still in the package). I hope the recipients dont mind if i got my scent on it red face I just couldnt help myself. When Harleys gift came we took turns knocking the box around and rubbing our faces on it. Mom had to hide it under the tree, underneath other presents because harley loves to chew on cardboard and she was afraid he would get it open!
