	I 'd like to thank everykitty for the warm welcome here and for the prominent link to my Superbowl contest. I posted it to a few groups I was a member of before and got NO replies so I was feeling a little weird about it and thought I may have made a serious faux-paw, but you have been very nice and supportive and I'm so extremely happy today that I'm going to find a houseplant to tip over in honor of Nipfields Cat Park. (It's what we Loki's do when we're happy. My humans would expect nothing less.... ) Loki

	I think they pick another 5 finalists and CBS execs vote on us, but the rules are unclear. The contest goes year round for other chances to get on TV so no one seems to know if there will be 5 finalists or 10 because there is no deadline. The judges are taking comments and ratings into account, but I can't imagine the second round of videos will have much time to get a good sample of comments since they won't be posted until after the 28th. Although that helps me out, it doesn't seem fair to them. But I also think Afro Ken and I will both find out how we did at pretty much the same time. They are supposed to tell us a few days before the Superbowl, and that's Feb 4. Although the final decision will be by the judges, the more pets and humans who get my video link in their email between now and then, the better! 10 days, I'm so EXCITED!

	They just announced that submissions have ended for the Superbowl airing, but I still don't know if that means there will be 5 contestants or 10. It could be they are posting the next round next week, and it could mean they are answering all the questions going on in the group. Have no idea. I assumed it would come down to 10 videos. That's my latest news, and thanks for continuing to help!

	Thank you, Miles! My female primate got a call from CBS on Friday after she went to bed (at 1PM. She is nocturnal.) And of course when she got up the offices were closed. But she emailed and they emailed back and should be calling today. Something about "promotional opportunities". I don't know what that means exactly. I still assume it means every finalist is getting this call because no one has said who the winner is yet. But it does sound as if the 5 videos at CBS are the only finalists. I think. Again, not sure, but that's what she gathered from the phone call. But at any rate, "promotional opportunities" sounds like it may even be better than CBS.com. Maybe they will want to follow it Ted Koppel's footsteps and start interviewing non-humans like he did with Kermit the Frog on a few occasions!
