	For many generations, four clans of cats have lived in the forest, guided by their warrior ancestors... The stories follow the adventures of the cats, from the cat perspective, of course. One main plot continues through several books, and each book includes several sub plots. Warriors currently includes two different series, the original series and The New Prophecy. Each series contains six books, although the six in The New Prophecy has not yet been released (due out Dec. 2006!!). The first series introduces you to clan life, develops irresistible cat characters and personalities, and takes you on fabulous adventures. The second series takes place later in time, when some of the young cats have grown up, and continues with plot twists and surprises. The books are geared towards younger readers, so you'll have to find them in the children's section (but keep in mind, you also find Harry Potter in the children's section...). An excellent introduction is provided on the Warriors website www.warriorcats.com. Click on "The Warriors Books" tab, and you'll find each book cover with a teaser description and small excerpt from the book. If you're up for some light reading, prepare for a real treat! 	This sounds like a fun set! We may have to wait a while to read them though since we have a bunch of things to catch up with right now plus we have to read Ghatti for November. Maybe this will come up on the reading list in future months and we can read along. My meowmy reads so much and I love it because I get to cuddle up with her when she's reading.

The first series and The New Prophecy. 	I saw that at Waldenbooks, so I bought the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th books! I read the first one a long time ago (a friend told me to read it and lent it to me) but never could find the next few at the library so I never read them... I just started Fire and Ice and it's very good, I could hardly put it down to go to sleep! Also wanted to say if you like the Warriors series I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the books The Wild Road and the sequel The Golden Cat by Gabriel King. 	Yeah I really like them...so much that I already finished both Fire and Ice and the 3rd book Forest of Secrets! At this rate I'm going to have to go back and buy more books before the week is over! Forest of Secrets was pretty sad though...
